CLUB LIPMAN
Lipman Middle School’s after school program, Club Lipman, is open to all Lipman students, free of charge. Thanks to a partnership with the City of Brisbane aimed at providing teen services, we offer a variety of enrichment activities and homework support after school every day. The various clubs are taught by community volunteers, parents, teachers and staff at Lipman and some outside agencies in one hour blocks, and we expect to continue with some favorite clubs and anticipate adding new, exciting activities next year. After-school homework support is available daily in the Homework Club from 3:03-5:00PM.
Club Lipman Hours
-
3:05-5:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
-
2:05-4:00 on Wednesday
EXPECTATIONS:
- Club Lipman programs are welcoming to all students, and it is important that all students feel comfortable and safe here.
- The use of Lifeskills and Lifelong Guidelines (Trustworthiness, Truthfulness, Active-listening, No Put-Downs, Personal Best) is expected.
- Students must remain on campus to ensure student safety. There are no in/out privileges.
- If your child is misbehaving we will ask him or her to call home to be picked up immediately. If disruptive behavior continues (3 or more occurrences), the student may be dropped from the program.
- It is expected that once a student is enrolled in an after-school program, he or she will attend regularly.
- Repeated absences will result in students being dropped from program offerings, as there may be other students who are waitlisted.
- Please call the school at (415) 467-9541, or e-mail Michelle Chan with any questions at [email protected]
